What the license means
A focused v1 license, without a recurring bill
- Payment
- One-time purchase. There is no subscription attached to the current license.
- Activation
- Validation requires a network connection and sends the entered license key to the validation endpoint and configured license provider. It does not attach selected photos, filenames, paths, or audit rows.
- Scope
- The validated key is remembered in the current browser profile and removes the 20-copy export limit there. Clearing site data removes that local saved state. The license does not add EXIF rewriting or historical-date verification.
- Launch price
- $19 during launch. The stated regular price is $29. We do not use a countdown to imply a deadline that has not been set.
- Refund window
- Official-checkout purchases may be requested for refund within 30 days, subject to the published refund policy and payment-provider processing.
Questions
Before you buy
Do I need to pay to scan a large archive?
No. Local scanning and audit-report downloads remain free. The license is checked when you export more than 20 selected copies.
Does a license make TrueTaken rewrite EXIF?
No. Current v1 creates organized copies whose media bytes are unchanged. It does not rewrite embedded EXIF on either the source or the copy.
Is unlimited export the same as unlimited storage?
No. TrueTaken does not provide cloud storage. Exports use your device and destination storage.
Why can a ZIP export fail for a large archive?
Current v1 caps in-browser ZIP creation at 250 MB to avoid an unreliable memory-heavy export. Use direct folder export in a compatible browser, or export smaller selections.
Can I try it before entering payment information?
Yes. The local audit and the first 20 selected copies do not require a purchase.
